The Saturday Set is back for another huge spring Saturday, with blue-chip racing at Flemington and Rosehill and confidence running high from King and Fizzer.
The boys tackle the Makybe Diva Stakes, Bobbie Lewis Quality, Sheraco Stakes and Run To The Rose before revealing their best bets around the country.
Oliveanotherday — the winning streak continues?
Exciting sprinter Oliveanotherday chases a sixth consecutive victory in the Bobbie Lewis after producing a devastating turn of foot to win The Heath.
Fizzer remains convinced he's the real deal but admits taking short odds about a horse having its first experience down the Flemington straight carries some risk.
King has no such concerns. He rates Oliveanotherday closer to a $1.50 chance and believes the $1.75 on offer represents value.
Oliveanotherday is King's first Saturday Set selection.
Makybe Diva — King launches into Sir Delius
The Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes shapes as a genuine two-horse battle between Sheza Alibi and Sir Delius.
Fizzer narrowly has Sheza Alibi on top over the 1600m but is extremely wary of Sir Delius, believing the import is Australia's best horse once he gets to 2000m and beyond.
King is going one step further.
He believes Sheza Alibi is too short around $1.70 and has made Sir Delius his biggest bet of the day at around $4.40. Three strong trials have King convinced he's ready to fire first-up.
"I'm having my max bet and I'm doubling it."
Sheraco Stakes — Lazzura gets King's money
There has been strong early support for Lazzura, and King is happy to follow it.
While Fizzer wasn't completely sold on her trials and slightly preferred Weeping Woman at the prices, King pointed to Lazzura's history of racing well first-up after quiet trials.
With James McDonald sticking with the mare and the early $4 already disappearing, King is keen to back Lazzura if around $3.50 becomes available.
Run To The Rose — favourite looks short
The unbeaten St Gotthard faces his biggest test in the Run To The Rose and neither of the boys is desperate to take the short price.
Fizzer has Central Europe on top and also respects the heavily backed Under Focus, while King believes Under Focus could still attract further support after an unlucky previous run.
Both agree St Gotthard is a hugely promising colt — but around $2.70, there isn't enough value to get involved.
King's Saturday Set
BetBunkerKing expects him to fire fresh down the straight after winning the Group 2 Todman first-up last campaign.
BetBunkerKing rates him closer to a $1.50 chance, so the $1.75 is value — a sixth straight win beckons.
BetBunkerThree strong trials have King convinced he fires first-up, and he is doubling his max bet on it.
King has gone all-in on Flemington this week. He expects Paradoxium to fire fresh down the straight, Oliveanotherday to continue his winning streak and is launching into Sir Delius in the Makybe Diva.
Fizzer's Saturday Set
BetBunkerFizzer loved the trial and expects Kerrin McEvoy to put him right into the race — his strongest bet anywhere in Australia.
Fizzer's strongest bet anywhere in Australia is Skyhook at Rosehill. He loved the trial, expects Kerrin McEvoy to put him right into the race and believes the $3 on offer represents a strong bet.
King is loading up on Sir Delius. Fizzer is launching into Skyhook. The Saturday Set is locked and loaded for another huge spring Saturday.
