Race 1 β 3:40pm Β· 1200m
Jedi Spurs has been runner-up at his past two starts and gets valuable weight relief through Nichola Yuen's apprentice claim. Almighty Warrior should improve significantly second-up after working hard from a wide barrier last time. He now draws favourably and gets Zac Purton aboard. Both have legitimate winning claims in an open race.
BetBunkerRace 2 β 4:10pm Β· 1400m
Tycoon Express drops into Class 5 for the first time and finally gets a more favourable barrier after a succession of wide draws. Only U should improve second-up returning to turf and gets Zac Purton aboard. Both have positive form angles, although this remains a competitive race.

Ka Ying Lightning is unbeaten in two starts over the Sha Tin straight 1000m and looks a seriously promising sprinter. Storm Mirror broke through impressively over this course and distance last time, and his seven-pound handicap rise is effectively offset by the apprentice claim. Mr Cool was equally impressive winning by two lengths first-up and remains in Class 4, although his eight-pound penalty and difficult barrier make this a tougher assignment.

Megastar Heart was outstanding winning first-up over this course and distance despite racing without cover. Almighty Lightning attracts strong support and looks a leading contender in a competitive finale. Circuit Champion has been racing well and was narrowly beaten last time, although barrier 14 is a genuine concern.
