This is the one we're most confident about. National Code shapes as hard to beat and is very close to a win — a race that holds real appeal. Horses knocking on the door in the right grade are exactly what you want to be on when the rest of the card is ordinary. He's the anchor.
The Bathurst pair
Comic Culture looks hard to beat on paper — the first-up run was a blinder and this isn't much harder. That's the sort of profile that wins these country races: fit, well-placed, no obvious query.
Later in the day, Jamacri shared the spoils two back and boasts a placing from one attempt on this track, so he can go close here. Track affinity plus a solid recent line is enough to want him each of my three — happy to take him at the odds.
