Ninja valued at $5.5 million

Ninja's stocks continue to rise, with a 1% share in the star sprinter selling for $55,000 through Inglis Digital, valuing the horse at an impressive $5.5 million.

Cosmic Crusader confirmed for Caulfield Cup

Turnbull Stakes winner Cosmic Crusader will take his place in the 150th Caulfield Cup on October 17.

Owner Bob Peters had been considering whether to step the Andrea Leek-trained gelding up to 2400m for the first time following his brilliant Turnbull victory at Flemington.

The decision has now been made, with the two-time Group 1 winner set to carry 56kg in the $6 million feature.

Jokers Grin set for Sydney Stakes

Jokers Grin is set to bypass The Everest and instead tackle the Group 2 Sydney Stakes on Everest Day before heading to Melbourne for the Champions Sprint, all going well.

Connections have received an offer for an Everest slot, but the terms weren't considered suitable. Unless a better offer arrives, Jokers Grin will contest the $2 million Sydney Stakes.

Giga Kick and Joliestar lock in Everest slots

The $20 million Everest field is almost complete, with former winner Giga Kick and star mare Joliestar confirmed for next Saturday's Randwick feature.

Coolmore is understood to have secured Giga Kick for its slot, giving the former Everest champion another opportunity to win the world's richest turf race.

Chris Waller has also confirmed Joliestar will represent the stable's slot.

Small Fry likely headed to Geelong Cup

Joseph O'Brien-trained import Small Fry is likely to have his first Australian start in the Geelong Cup on Wednesday, October 21.

The OTI-owned stayer arrives off a last-start victory at York but still has work to do to secure a Melbourne Cup berth, currently sitting 66th in the order of entry.
